Bangalore : Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has said that KPCC Chief Dr G Parameshwar would hold talks with the party high command and finalise the names of  MLC and Rajya Sabha candidates.

The Chief Minister was addressing press persons in the capital. Referring to the  statement of writer Devanur Mahadeva suggesting  to  appoint Jnanpeeth Awardee writer UR Ananthamurthy to the Rajya Sabha instead of  appointing him  an MLC, the chief minister said he cannot decide on the issue and that the  High Command decision was final.

He said the election process for the Legislative Council and Rajya Sabha will begin after the Lok Sabha election results.
