
Bengaluru: Following Sri Lanka army chief Lieutenant General N U M Mahesh W Senanayke’s statement that a few suicide bombers who carried out serial blasts across the Colombo at the time of Easter celebrations visited Bengaluru also, the city police increase the security. A high alert has been sounded in the city.
According to the sources, the police are keeping an movement of all the suspicious persons and security cover increased to sensitive installations.
Speaking to the media city police commissioner T Sunil Kumar said the city police have no definite information about the movement of the suicide bombers who carried out blasts at Colombo. “The public need not panic. They can alert the police by dialling 100,” he stated.
