Bengaluru: Karnataka Health Minister B Sreeramulu has announced that he will be staying overnight at government hospitals in an attempt to improve the quality of service offered by the state’s hospitals, especially during the night.
Sreeramulu said that the reason behind this decision was to reach out to the patients and address the problems faced by them.
“Although the state government is spending a lot to provide healthcare services to the public, there have been complaints. In order to rectify this, I am planning to stay at the hospitals and understand the problems,” he said.
The minister also made it clear that there was no shortage of funds for Karnataka’s health sector.
