Bengaluru: Hassan soldier Sandeep Kumar who died in an avalanche at Gurez Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, will be cremated with full state honor today, February 2.
The mortal remains of Sandeep Kumar arrived at HAL airport, Bengaluru in a special flight on Tuesday night. The remains were later taken to his native Devihalli in Hassan by a special vehicle.
Sandeep Kumar (28) has been serving as a sepoy in the Indian Army for the last eight years. Sandeep is survived by his parents and a sister. He was about to tie the nuptial knot on February 21.
