Bengaluru: A gang of five persons fired at a real estate businessman in the city, leaving him injured.

The businessman is Auto Babu, 50. He has been rushed to a hospital.

The incident has been reported from the KR puram police station road on Sunday morning when he was returning from the morning walk.

Police suspect business rivalry as the reason for the attack.

According to the initial reports, a gang of five persons who arrived in an SUV fired at Babu, who collapsed on the spot.

Locals alerted the police.
