First ever Cross Gender gets Ticket to Contest in Upcoming Assembly Elections

Bangalore, Apr 9: Inspired by the victory of a cross gender in the recently held civic polls in Bangalore rural, another cross gender will contest the upcoming assembly elections.  Its significant that a cross gender has been included in the first list of 17 candidates out of 93 by BSP state president Marasandra Muniyappa here on Saturday April 6.  Accordingly, a cross gender – Soumya will be the first ever to contest the upcoming assembly elections from Gandhi Nagar constituency.

Similarly, BSP has issued ticket to Mamata, who is hailing from nomad community of Gosangi in the upcoming assembly elections from Davanagere north constituency.  BSP and SPI have become alternative parties to minority community to seek social justice.

BSP and SPI have formed an alliance to let SPI contest in 25 constituencies, while BSP will contest in 199 constituencies.  The second list will be released in 3 days, said Marasandra Muniyappa.
