Bengaluru: Disappointed over frequent transfers, Lokayukta Special Investigation Task’s IGP, Suresh Kunhi Muhammad tendered resignation from his post on Tuesday, July 5.

Sources said that he had been transferred four times in the last six months.

Muhammad was transferred from Gulbarga division IGP post to Fire and Emergency Services department in last February. Later, he was transferred to Police Home Squad and within a month he was again transferred to Lokayukta.

It is not yet confirmed whether the resignation is accepted or not.
