Bengaluru: As the conciliation meeting between lecturers and government failed for the seventh time, Minister for Education, Kimmane Rathnakar affirmed that alternative steps have been taken and the evaluation of PU answer papers will begin from 16th of this month.

Decoding of answer sheets would begin from today itself, he said.

More than 12,000 eligible candidates have been picked up from private colleges for the evaluation work and results will be announced on May 2 as per schedule, he added.
