Bangalore: State Information Minister Roshan Baig has said that even Editors of TV channels and newspapers should file their asset details with the Lokayukta just like the politicians.

Speaking after inaugurating a Media Workshop at Vikasa Saudha here, Baig said the media should function in a free and transparent manner and this is possible when the editors maintain transparency by filing asset details with the Lokayukta.

Even media should be accountable to the society just like politicians, he argued.  It is only then that people will trust them, he said.
