Bengaluru: After coming under severe pressure from all quarters, Dr Yathindra, son of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, submitted his resignation as director of Matrix Solutions India Private Limited on Monday, April 18.

Matrix had acquired the tender for setting up a diagnostic centre at the government-run PMSSY?hospital on the premises of the Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru, in which Dr Yathindra was one of the directors.

He said that he had resigned on Monday but a few formalities were still pending.

Dr Yathindra who was still upset over the controversy suspects that there are some other people at work preventing the lab from being set up.

When mediapersons questioned about it, he said that he had some information, but he wasn’t really sure.
