Bangalore: A 32-year-old doctor allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Rajarajeshwari Nagar on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Dr. Kumuda, wife of Dr. Nandish. The couple worked in a private hospital.

The parents of Dr. Kumuda alleged harassment by the husband which led their daughter to take the extreme step. Based on the allegation, Rajarajeshwari Nagar police have taken up a case and are looking out for Dr. Nandish who is said to be absconding.
