Bengaluru: “Challenging Star” Darshan-starer “Kurukshetra” audio release event at the Kanteerava indoor stadium was the scene of rapid political developments when irrigation minister D K Shivakumar and his brother MP D K Suresh arrived uninvited to convince rebel MLA Muniratna to withdraw his resignation.

It can be recalled that RR Nagar MLA Muniratna tendered his resignation to his post allegedly as part of “Operation Kamala”.

While the event was in progress, DKShi arrived with his brother DK Suresh and in full view of the public, tried to convince Muniratna to withdraw his resignation. Challenging Star Darshan was a mute spectator to the developments.

DKShi, however, failed in his mission as Muniratna refused to withdraw resignation and talk about the issue saying that they were at a non-political event.
