Bengaluru: Deeply pained by the death of DK Ravi, his paternal aunt passed away on Friday March 20.

The deceased Padamma (48), had fallen ill after she learnt of her nephew’s death.

DK Ravi, an IAS officer who took on the sand mafia in Kolar was found dead on March 16, at his residence. The entirely family has been mourning since then. The death was prima facie called a suicide, but investigation is going on amid a din by the opposition which together with the family has been in unison demanding that the probe be handed over to the CBI.

Meanwhile the Chief Minister and Home Minister met the governor today and explained the stand of the government to him.

Along with opposition, a few congress MLA’s too, are demanding a CBI probe. Likewise several other organizations and students are urging for Justice to the late IAS officer.
