Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who has time and again claimed to be an atheist, often openly speaking about his disbelief on astrology and jinxes has been caught on wrong foot, candidly succumbing to superstition.
As per sources close to Siddaramaiah, the CM has reportedly changed his official car after a crow was seen perched on it couple of days ago. Considered as a bad omen, a hint of misfortune in the waiting, Siddaramaiah probably did not want to take any chances, considering the fact that he already walking tightrope in the state.
Without any delay, the CM has bought a high-end luxury car for official use, sending his old car out of sight, simply because it was ‘tainted’ by the crow. The new car parked at his official residence ‘Krishna’ is yet to get its registration number. The car is expected to roll on roads from Monday onwards, sources said.
