Bangalore : The Congress is expected to release its next list of 47 candidates on Friday. According to sources, most of the names in the list are those of the children of union ministers. The party has been holding a series of meetings to finalise the list.

It is said Party president Sonia Gandhi who returned to Delhi on Monday has given her green signal for tickets to children of union ministers. As per sources the aspirants are  Priyanka Kharge from Chittapura, Roopakala Shashidhar, daughter of KH Muniappa from KGF, Mansoor Ali Khan, son of  Rehman Khan from Jayanagar and Rehman Sharief, grandson of Jaffer Sharief  from Hebbala. It is learnt, the party has given green signal for tickets to three among  these.
