Bengaluru: While the silence of former Mandya MP and Kannada actress Ramya alias Divya Spandana over whether she would follow the footsteps of her political mentor former Chief Minister SM Krishna and join BJP had fuelled many a speculations, the actress on Tuesday finally put a full stop to all the rumors by lashing out at BJP and its supporters, including Republic TV.
On Tuesday, Divya Spandana used micro blogging site twitter to lash out against right wing party leaders and organisations.
She started her tweets with expressing shock over the Sukma incident where 26 CRPF soldiers were killed by the naxals. Her tweet dragging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the controversy probably hurt BJP most.
“the kind of intelligence machinery that was used in ‘Snoopgate’ when Modiji was Chief Minister could not be put in place to protect our CRPF jawans? Priorities,” she tweeted.
Next target of her tweet was again PM Narendra Modi. “You tweet in our local language & talk about protecting diversity & then slyly impose Hindi-what does this speak of?,” she questioned Prime Minister through her tweet.
Her next targets were vocal BJP supporter T.V Mohandas Pai and Arnab Goswami. She took dig at both these by tweeting few questions and answers.
All these developments which happened within 48 hours has now confirmed that Ramya will not join BJP. Instead her political journey will continue in Congress atleast for some time now.
