Bengaluru: The core committee meeting of the coalition government (Congress-Janata Dal (S)) was organized here on Monday, March 4.

As the core committee meeting was fixed today by the coalition government to sort out seat distribution between the two parties, AICC General Secretary and In-charge of Karnataka Congress, K C Venugopal had a meeting with the Congress leaders.

According to the party sources, it is known that the Congress party high command has organized this meet to deal with confusions of seat sharing between the two parties and see to it that there is no cold war between the parties.

However, the committee meeting, which was fixed at 9.30 AM today, was postponed for sometime, due to the delay in the arrival of K C Venugopal.

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G Parameshwar, Chairman of Government-alliance Coordination Committee, Siddaramaiah, KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao and other Congress and JDS leaders were present.

Earlier, one round of meeting had already been done between Congress-JDS based on the Lok Sabha election seat share.
