Bangalore : KPCC President Dr G Parameshwar has said that a Co-ordination Committee would be formed after the Mandya and Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha bye-elections.
Participating in an interaction meet, he said Congress President Sonia Gandhi has okayed the formation of the Committee and added the names of the Committee members is being finalized. He said the Committee would go a long way in having a better co-ordination between the government and the party in turn contributing to a good administration. At the same time, he said it is the high command which will decide on creating the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Everything will depend on the decision of party leaders, he said.
Dr Parameshwar further said the bye-elections gains prominence for the party as it is in power in the State and at the same time added the party has nothing to lose or gain from the results of the elections. He further blamed the JD(S) for the bye-elections and exuded confidence that the Congress would emerge victorious.
