
Bengaluru: Predicting a clear victory for the Congress party in the state Assembly elections scheduled on May 12, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the secret alliance between the BJP and JD(S) would not help the opposition defeat the Congress, which owing to its develpomental agenda along with transparent and clean governance is slated to win with clear majority in the polls.
He was speaking after releasing the AR-based ‘CM Talks’, mobile app here in Bengaluru on Saturday, April 21. Once downloaded, the app-a first of its kind political campaign app in India allows users to watch videos, messages of the CM by pointing at his poster. For this purpose users have to scan the QR code on the posters.
The technologically empowered app will help the chief minister reach out to more people effectively and also make them aware of the developmental works of the Congress party
Tweeting about the launch, Siddaramaiah said, “Happy that @INCKarnataka scripts yet another first today, with the launch of an innovative augmented reality app #CMTalks! Exciting to see the power of technology helping us connect with people from across the state. Looking forward to interact with you”.
Regarding the forthcoming elections, the chief minister said that the BJP has been trying to misguide people by speaking lies about the Congress government as they do not have anything to speak about their achievements either at the Centre or in any of the BJP-ruled states. Further he went on to term the JD(S) as a regional party.
Hinting at the secret alliance between the BJP and JD(S), he said that they were living in a dream world and he was confident that the people of the state would back the COngress party.
