Bengaluru: The BMRCL will start operating the second six coach metro train from Thursday. CM HD Kumaraswamy will flag off the new train at Majestic metro station.
It can be recalled that the BMRCL operationalised the first six coach train on June 22.
According to the BMRCL officials, they are yet to take a decision on which route this coach will be operated. “We will take a decision based on the demand,” said a senior officer.
According to the authorities, six coaches train can carry 2,004 passengers at a time. “The BMEL handed over this six coaches train in the month of September. Within three weeks, this coach was tested and added to the fleet,” said BMRCL authorities
