Bangalore:The modern youth are losing literary interest in Kannada because they are more hooked to twitter and facebook. Meanwhile, if they are appealed to use Kannada software, it would help them in getting back their interest in Kannada literature, said CM Siddaramaiah.
CM Siddaramaih was speaking after releasing Kannada novel “Kaadu Mattu Krouya” maiden book authored by Poornachandra Tejasvi during the latter’s seventy-fifth birth anniversary.
Poornachandra is a multi-faceted litterateur, who expresses his ideas straight form his heart, which has moral teaching, great love towards Mother Nature, added CM Siddaramaiah.
Poornachandra was not after money, power and to live in city instead he found solace with nature.His interest in testing the founded-concepts with innovative thoughts inspired Ramdas, Lankesh and Professor Nanjundaswamy, said CM siddaramaiah.
Jnana Peeta award recipient Kannada litterateur Chandrashekar Kambar laid emphasis on sustenance of Kannada on the occasion.
