Bengaluru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is set to visit drought-hit areas in the state from today.

He will be touring Kalaburagi, Raichur, Yadgir, Vijayapura, Bidar and Bagalkot in two phases of visits.

The CM has instructed the district in-charge secretaries to tour their district two days in a month. They have also been instructed to meet the district in-charge minister and apprise them of the issues in the district.

He will be assessing damages caused by drought in Bidar and Kalaburagi today.
