Bengaluru: CM Siddaramaiah has arrived at Vidhana Soudha and will be presenting his 12th budget at 11.30 am today.

A lot of focus may be placed on farmers in this budget with waiver of loans and other sops likely as the state has been facing the sixth drought in a row.Siddaramaiah, who holds the record of being the only Karnataka CM to present the highest number of budgets, has little scope to announce fresh taxes with the GST coming into existence later this year.

A lot of expectations ride on the budget in the pre-poll year.
