Bangalore: Finally, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday promised to fulfill the demands of the PU lecturers, who have been on protest and even abstained from evaluation duty.
The PU lecturers have been on stir for over 20 days over various issues including pay disparity.
The CM, who met the PU Lecturers’ Association members on Sunday at his residence ‘Krishna’, said that he would look into the matter.
The issue will be discussed in the next cabinet meeting and with the officials concerned soon, the CM said.
The high profile meeting over the issue is expected to be held in this month end.
