Bangalore : CM Siddaramaiah instructed the chief secretary of finance department in order to release necessary funds in overcoming the water crisis faced by cities and towns across the state.
Speaking to media persons after the cabinet meeting, the state minister of law and parliamentary affairs T B Jayachandra said that the water crisis is affecting many cities, towns and rural villages. CM Siddaramaiah has instructed the district administrations to release funds in combating the crisis at the earliest.
The reservation list for councilors of urban and local bodies will be announced shortly after discussing the issue with urban development minister, civil administration minister and CM Siddaramaiah, said minister Jayachandra.
