Bengaluru: After a discussion with Ramesh Jarakiholi, on Saturday night CM HD Kumaraswamy held discussion with another Congress rebel MLA B Nagendra.

According to the sources, as per the advice of the major irrigation minister DK Shivakumar, HDK invited Nagendra for talks, which were held at the CM’s official residence.

“Nagendra explained the issues he is facing and requested the CM to resolve them. He also demanded a cabinet portfolio to him. The CM advised him to talk to Congress high command in this regard,” said sources privy to the developments.

According to the sources, B Nagendra submitted a list of work that needs to be undertaken in his constituency. The CM assured of funds for all the projects at the earliest.

Meanwhile, B Nagendra declined to reveal the details of his discussion with the CM.
