Bengaluru: Bengaluru Nagarika Hakku Horata Samiti Vice President B. Ganesh Singh has alleged that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has illegally used Rs. 129 crore of government funds to get publicity for the achievements of the party. He also filed a complaint regarding the same with Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday.

The State Government has published advertisements about the Congress-led government’s achievements in various media. But, those advertisements contain the pictures of AICC President Rahul Gandhi and former president Sonia Gandhi. The Congress party must have given money for those ads, but its paid by the government, he alleged.

Meanwhile, he stated that without paying the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), the government is using 489 bus stands of Bengaluru for the publicity of government’s achievements from past four and half years. Siddaramaiah is yet to pay Rs.13 crore to the corporation. The BBMP Advertisement section Assistant Commissioner has issued notice twice in this regard, Ganesh Singh said in his complaint.
