Bengaluru: One of the reasons the city residents oppose the VVIP movement is the zero traffic system. The VVIPs rip across leaving the common man waiting in the mess. However, on Thursday evening, during the peak hour, Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa won the hearts of people by clearing the traffic himself!
All started when the CM was on his way from Sadashivanagar to Banashankari to meet Pejavara seer. On the way, he was stopped by the media. As the Banashankari road is infamous for traffic congestion during the peak hours, within minutes hundreds of vehicles were stuck.
CM BS Yediyurappa who came to know about the massive jam, gave a hand signal to the drivers to move and asked officials to cancel the zero traffic. He also travelled amid traffic.
Later speaking to media, he stated that BJP is committed to protecting the interests of all the disqualified MLAs as they helped the BJP to form the government in the state.
