City police bust cocaine racket; four arrested

Bengaluru: In yet another massive hunt to curb narcotics related mafia, Bengaluru rural police have arrested four persons on charges of illegally possessing cocaine on Sunday, April 3. Cocaine worth Rs 2 crore has been recovered.

The arrested are Diwakar, Ramanjunappa, Narasimhamurthy and Rajesh.

All are said to be residents of Bengaluru and were into drug smuggling for years now.

Acting on a tip off from the intelligence department, rural police raided a road side dhabha near Hoskote and recovered 5 Kg of cocaine worth two crores.

It can be recalled that CCB police cracked similar racket last week and recovered one core worth brown sugar.
