Bengaluru: The Chief Secretary to the State Government Dr Subhash Chandra Kuntia on Friday categorically denied the allegations in a section of the media stating that the Chief Secretary is trying for Central deputation and not showing interest in the day to day activities of the State Government.

“Allegations against me are baseless and far from truth. Such imaginary stories may give happiness to some people. But, pains honest officers. I am attending to correspondence and files on a day to day basis and paying person attention for the development of Karnataka. I am pained by such rumours,” Dr Subhash Chandra Kuntia said in a statement.
