Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) police recovered chemicals enough to prepare 50 tiffin box bombs from the Chikkabanavara house.

These explosives were recovered from a deserted residential building on the Chikkabanavara old railway station building road of the city.

According to sources in the NIA, suspect K Habibur Rehman alias Sheikh (30) had built a mini lab to produce bombs inside the house.

“He was preparing the bombs by reading books. He had set up a mini lab in the house,” they added.
