CCB police busts gambling den, arrest 23

Bengaluru: The CCB police have conducted a raid on Fantastic-3 Dice Game maintained by Annamma Devi Association in Seshadripuram police limits. The police have arrested 23 persons on charges of gambling and seized Rs 58,275 cash and 750 tokens of various denominations from the arrested persons.

The police have identified the accused as Satyanand (30), Raju (55), Devaraj (47), Rajesh (27), Jaffer (32), Nanjunda (40), Praveen Kumar (26), Sunil (38), Kantharaj (38), Gowresh (40), Pasha (30), Chandra Sekhar (45), Aslam (36), K Ravi (40), Venkatesh (42), Krishna (60), Venkatesh (60), Ashok (35), Vasu (45), Shivanna (38), Gowdayya (40), Kempe Gowda (21), and V S Shashidhara (38).

Two held for betting

The City Crime Branch police have arrested two persons on charges of betting in High Ground police limits. The CCB police have identified the arrested persons as Balaji (58) and Bhadraiah (48) and seized Rs 1,70,000 cash and other items used for betting from the arrested persons.

After receiving information on the betting, the CCB police took the two accused into the custody near Gate 3, 1st Enclosure of Turf Club.

A case has been registered at High Ground Police Station.
