Bengaluru: TheCCB police issued a notice to controversial godman Nithyananda of the Bidadi on his latest sermon on the use of ganja.

It has been alleged that recently during one of his discourses, Nithyananda allegedly stated that ganja is harmless and gives a spiritual feeling. This video went viral. Some members of the public had forwarded the video to the CCB.

Based on this video complaint, CCB has registered a suo moto complaint.

It may be recalled that recently CCB had also summoned rapper Chandan Shetty over one of his songs on marijuana.
