Bengaluru: The sleuths of Crime Branch arrested five persons who were allegedly running a prostitution racket in a spa at RMV Extension in Sadashiva Nagar on Saturday. Five girls from Thailand were rescused during the raid.

One of the accused arrested is the owner Luis Ranjith Kumar, (38) who has been accused of trafficking women from Thailand. Chandra Kantha, (32), Sanjeev (39) Anish, (23) and Abhishek, (23) who were working as staff in the spa were also arrested.

The raid was carried out by the officials based on a on a tip-off.

The rescued women would be sent to their respective homes.
