Bengaluru: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is conducting an investigation into the alleged phone tapping incident, raided the residence of state reserve police force ADGP Alok Kumar.

The former Bengaluru commissioner of police was questioned by the CBI in connection with the case before his house was raided.

According to sources, the CBI interrogated Kumar from 8 AM to 11 AM and later, raided his house.

It can be recalled that the phone tapping allegedly occurred when Kumar was the city’s police chief. It has been alleged that the CCB’s technical office was used to conduct the phone tapping.
