Bengaluru: Former Prime Minister and JDS supremo HD Devegowda has stated that former CM BS Yeddyurappa’s target is not the coalition government but CM HD Kumaraswamy.

Speaking to the reporters on the sidelines of the JDS legislature party meeting, he stated that BSY is only targetting Kumaraswamy.

“The BJP needs to lure at least 18 MLAs to topple this government. It is impossible given the present circumstances,” he said adding that
BSY is assuming that it was the JDS, which is responsible for the fall of his three-day-old government.

That is why he is targetting HDK,” he alleged. He also stated that cabinet expansion will be done in the first week of October and disgruntled MLAs will be pacified with the legislative secretary posts.
