Six months ago, all preparations were done to call a tender for Rs.600 crores. But, the tender amount was raised to a Rs. 1,100 crore and given to contractor D.B. Uppara as per their understanding. The Chief Minister should give clarification regarding this, he demanded.
“The government has taken Rs. 975 crores of loan keeping corner sites as security in BBMP. They have taken Rs.1,400 crores of Mysuru Minerals, which they kept as a deposit in the bank for the ‘adjustment’ during the farmers’ loan waiver,” Yeddyurappa blamed.
“Siddaramaiah is asking when will ‘Acche Din’ come. The Congress has vanished in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh and good days will usher in only when Congress vanishes from Karnataka as well,” he taunted.
