Bangalore : State Health and Family Welfare Minister UT Khader has said that all bottlenecks in the implementation of the Rajeev Arogya Shree Scheme meant for BPL card holders will be cleared within the next ten days.
Speaking after inaugurating an ultra-modern health facility for treatment of children suffering from Type I Diabetes in the city, the minister stressed the need for concerted efforts to create an India free from Diabetes. Everyone should be health conscious and there need to be growing awareness about diabetes, he said. He also hailed the Bangalore Diabetes Hospital for offering free treatment to children.
On the problem arising due to non-availability of haemophilia medicines, the minister said the government cannot be blamed for the same as no company had come forward to take up the tenders which were invited twice.
