Bengaluru: Two police teams left Bengaluru city and reached undisclosed neighbouring states in search of the source of a suspicious object that was found at the KSR Railway Station, also known as city railway station on Friday.

According to sources in the city police, they collected basic information about the object and also found out where it was prepared. “Now, they are in search of the gangs engaged in preparing this object in the neighbouring states,” they explained.

“The suspicious object recovered from the city railway station was sent to a forensic lab for further investigation and scientific analysis,” added the police sources.

Meanwhile, the police also wrote to the Railway police, requesting them to close unmanned entrances into the railway station.

Security was also beefed up at the railway station after the incident. The authorities have begun checking the CCTVs cameras.
