Bengaluru: Auto Drivers’ Union launched Namma Yatri app to counter the cab aggregators. The highlight of this app will be only that the government fixed charges will be collected. Rs. 10 will be charged as the pick-up charge.
According to the Union Secretary Rudramuthy, this app will be available for service from November 1.
“Over 10,000 persons downloaded this app till now. The app will enable the passengers to select the auto of their choice near the City or pick-up point. No cancellation fee will be charged. The details of drivers and all the safety measures will be followed,” he said.
