Bengaluru: The city police seized as many as 36,000 vehicles over the last one month, for violating the lockdown norms.
Majority of the seized vehicles are two-wheelers.
According to the police, these vehicles will be returned to the owners only after the state government withdraws the lockdown norms.
Presently, these vehicles have been kept in various grounds across the city.
According to the authorities, most of these vehicles were seized for using fake passes issued by the agents.
Meanwhile, to ensure that the drivers do not misuse the old passes, the police decided not to issue any new passes to the drivers.
