Bengaluru: A sense of fear gripped Bengaluru as there are possibilities of the ISIS crucifying Christian Priest Tom Uzhunnalil today, March 25, which is also Good Friday, the day which commemorates the crucification of Jesus Christ.
It is said that 56-year-old Bengalurean priest was kidnapped by the ISIS.
Fr Tom, who hails from Pala in Kerala, has been working at the Missionaries of Charity, a home for the elderly run by the church in Yemen, for the last four years. He was abducted by the Islamist militants, who attacked the old age home in Aden, Southern Yemen, killing at least 16 people including 4 nuns.
With the possible execution messages making rounds on social networking platforms, the anxious Christian community has started prayers for the safety of the priest.
