On Tipu Jayanti

Coming down heavily on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for opposing celebrating Tipu Jayanti, the chief minister said the people of Karnataka know what B S Yeddyurappa did when he was in Karnataka Janata Party (KJP). “The people of Karnataka know what R Ashok and Jagadish Shettar did during Tipu Jayanti. They are politicizing the issue and trying to create law and order problems during Tipu Jayanti,’’ he said.
