Bangalore : Senior IAS officer and BBMP Commissioner Siddaiah is all set to plunge into the political arena. Sources said he was all likely to contest the ensuing assembly elections from either CV Raman Nagar or Mahadevapura Assembly constituency.
But, the party from which he is likely to contest has remained a secret as to yet. Rumours are also afloat that he may contest from KJP of Yeddyurappa
Already, Siddaiah has applied for voluntary retirement and his application is with the Principal Secretary HV Ranganath. It is now left to be seen as to which party he would choose once his application is approved.
There is even a chance of this top officer, who is close to Deputy CM Ashok, deciding to join the BJP and contest from either Nelamangala or Devanahalli constituency.
