Bangalore: Unidentified assailants have murdered  Fr Thomas(65), Parish Priest of the St Peterson Seminary  Church of Yeshwanthpur. The murder is suspected to have taken place on the night of March 31, Sunday.

The motive of the assailants is not known. Additional Police Commissioner Alok Kumar and  Malleshwaram MLA Ashwathnarayan have also visited the spot.

Yeshwanthpur police have rushed to the spot. A dog squad too has been pressed into service. Investigations are underway.
