Bengaluru: The High Court of Karnataka upheld the decision of the Additional District and Sessions Court of the interim bail plea of Naresh Shenoy, on Thursday, June 9.
An Additional District and Sessions Court in Mangaluru had rejected the bail plea earlier.
Naresh Shenoy is prime accused in RTI activist Vinayak Baliga murder case and is absconding since long.
It may be recalled that two miscreants had hacked Baliga to death in the early morning of March 21 near his house. The police have already arrested four persons in connection with the murder.
Shenoy, a Yuva Brigade leader has been on the run ever since the murder took place. Police have issued lookout notice against him and still are unable to secure the suspect.
