Team hailed
Information Technology and e-governance department secretary Srivatsa Krishna made a presentation on the State government’s mobile governance initiative “Karnataka Mobile One” at the launch of the project in Bengaluru on Monday.
He thanked a whole lot of dignitaries on and off the dais during the vote of thanks. But he forgot to thank the first citizen of the country, Pranab Mukherjee, who launched the service.
Krishna, who thanked his team at the e-governance department who were part of the Mobile One project by naming them individually, forgot to thank President Pranab Mukherjee and Governor Vajubhai Vala present on the dais.
The first person that Krishna thanked was fellow IAS officer Gunjan Krishna (who happens to be his wife) whom he said was instrumental in giving a shape to the project, 13 months ago. She was earlier with the e-governance department. Krishna also thanked his mother at the end of his address.
Holograms
As soon as the dignitaries arrived, the lights in the auditorium were dimmed and the audience were treated to a pre-recorded 3-D hologram of Siddaramaiah coming out of Vidhana Soudha, greeting the audience and giving a brief outline of the mobile governance initiative. Next, the hologram image projected President Pranab Mukherjee.
