Bangalore : Campaigning has reached its peak in the state with just a day to go for the Assembly elections.

Political parties are laying more emphasis on door to door campaigning amid strict vigil of the Election Commission. Sources reveal that some candidates who planned to  woo voters through cash and liquor were finding  the task more daunting with the election authorities leaving no stone unturned in seeing to it that the poll code was not violated by any means. Interestingly, the task of the election commission has much reduced  with parties, candidates themselves complaining against each other  regarding poll code violation.

Public campaigning will draw to a close on May 4, Saturday. In the meantime, with political parties opting for all possible  tactics to woo voters, it is left to be seen as to what extent the election officials can put a brake to   unlawful activities.
