Bengaluru: Considerable improvement has been seen in the health condition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who is undergoing treatment at Jindal Naturecure Institute in the city, doctors treating him said.

“On day three of the treatment, his sugar level has come down to 200 from 300. On Sunday, he was put on deep tissue massage. This helps in improving his blood circulation. It will also aid lymphatic drainage which is intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph,” Dr Babina Nandakumar, Chief Medical Officer, Jindal Nature cure Institute, said. “Kejriwal is also on acupuncture to get treatment for health hazards,” she added.

The institute follows a protocol to admit patients who book sunsets only three months in advance. It was processed in a week for Kejriwal. “Since his condition was deteriorating drastically, the institute accepted his request. He wanted to stay for some more days. But due to the upcoming budget, he will complete his ten-day treatment plan and leave for Delhi,”  Dr Babina said.
