Bangalore :Reports say that Anjali Menon’s “Bangalore Days” is rocking at the UK box office. The film has crossed Rs. 1 crore mark till Sunday (13 July), according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
“Bangalore Days” has all the hot-and-happening stars of Malayalam cinema, including Dulquer Salmaan, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Fahadh Faasil. It also has Nithya Menon, Parvathy and Isha Talwar in supporting roles.
The film was released in more than 200 screens across India on 30 May. The comedy-drama took a fantastic opening upon its release and it earned nearly ?10 crore (distributor share of ?5.5 crore) in its first week at the domestic box office, reported Sify.
The film reportedly broke the record set by “Drishyam”, which took more than a week to earn Rs.10 crore.
“Bangalore Days”, which revolves around the lives of three cousins played by Nazriya, Nivin and Dulquer, received positive reviews from critics. The film deals with family and friendship and is touted to be a fun-filled youthful entertainer.
